Thoughts - August 28, 2016

“She was like a butterfly, full of color and vibrancy when she chose to open her wings, yet hardly visible when she closed them.”
― Geraldine Brooks.
How often do we go around with our wings closed? Most the time? We are so busy with work, home, medical issues, worries of so many kinds. We forget to loosen our shoulders, bring out our smiles, slowly let the knot of tension in our bellies dissolve. Yet the wonder of it all is we do have the wings, ready and waiting. Each and every one of us. Enthusiasm takes about the same effort as moodiness. A smile reaches the does a frown. Vibrant is not a word I use often, especially to describe myself. Why not?! - Beth Almond Ford
