So true. Oh, so very true. Both the sentiment of time passing in this way...and the absolute beauty of this sentence. I may have even used this quote last year when book club read one of this young man's books. But when I discovered it afresh this morning, I found myself savoring it like a piece of fine Belgium chocolate.
